Frequently asked questions (FAQ’s)

What is free and what will I be charged for?

The collection of storage and the cost of that collection is absolutely free, provided it is ground floor access. It includes no wrapping of furniture or packing of small items which can be done but will attract an additional fee. Redelivery of items is not free and a quote will be provided for this service

What about insurance?

Mario’s Movers does not offer insurance as we are not an accredited financial institution. Most customers switch their cover from their home to our facility. We have 24hr CCTV, armed response and a 24hr security guard. Our premises are serviced regularly by a pest control company. Goods are stored in sealed furniture pallets. The insurance company is welcome to inspect our premises by appointment only.

What about redelivery of my goods?

We will provide a quotation based on the access and distance from our store .

Can I access my goods at any time?

Unfortunately, our facility is not self-storage, we administer it so you would need to provide us with notice of collection of an item or items which will attract a handling fee dependent upon the amount of time it will take to access your goods. We would need at least 1 weeks’ notice of accessing your goods.

What about packing of crockery cutlery etc or wrapping of furniture?

We can provide these services and will quote you first.

Terms and Conditions

For a limited period and subject to availability Mario’s Movers are offering a free collection of storage items within a 25km radius of their secure warehousing premises in Parow Industria subject to the following:

Goods must be stored for a minimum period of 6 months and we would require bank account details to institute a monthly debit order payment.

The collection address must be a ground floor premises with no restrictions or impediments for loading by Mario’s Movers or additional fees may apply which will be quoted on and accepted first.

Any packing, wrapping or plastic covering or supply of packing materials is excluded. Mario’s Movers will supply any and all packaging materials or a packing service, if requested and a price will be provided beforehand.

The offer excludes the cost of redelivery of the goods.

This offer is for a limited time only and while space is available.

Insurance is excluded and all goods transported & stored by Mario’s is subject to their normal terms and conditions.
