Re: MOVE - HIGGOVALE TO CONSTANTIA
Craig and I purchased a new home and we were looking for movers to relocate us from Higgovale to Constantia on the 25th of March 2011.
Due to the fact that I had on previous occasions seen the Mario's Movers vans in our area and specifically noted how friendly and efficient the staff appeared I remembered the name whilst doing my research. I in fact remember slowing down next to a van during someone else's move and commenting to the guys how happy they looked despite having started working hours before.
From that very first sales call, to meeting with Mario for a quote, the speed at which the quote was presented and the way in which the entire process was handled was impressive. On occasions when I called to confirm we were still on for the dates it felt as though my name was foremost in the mind of Richard and he immediately put me at ease and in fact told me that it was going to be smooth running, hassle free and exciting. The day prior to the team of packers arriving Richard once again reassured me that I had nothing to worry about because everything was under control. He was quite right!! The team arrived and swiftly moved into place with each individual knowing what was required of them. Things moved so swiftly I was asked if I wanted to move across at the end of 'packing day' as the actual move was to be the following day. This was just phenomenal. The fact that the team offered this option to us and displayed energy and enthusiasm in ensuring that we were happy meant everything to us at a time when one is usually very stressed. It was already outside business hours by the time we reached Constantia but at no stage did I see any indication from any staff member that they were pushing to go home, they simply followed instructions and got the job done.
With the correct leaders it is amazing what can be achieved. Due to us having installed brand new carpets and only a few days prior to having applied a fresh coat of paint to the entire house it was of utmost importance to us that we kept walls scratch free and our carpets spot free and brand new. Due to this a team waited inside whilst others carted from your vans to the door.
Once all was in place in each room and we reassured them that the next day would be perfect to carry out the last of the work they left our new home "still smiling" and arrived back bright and early the following morning with the very same attitude. Unpacking took place, boxes were carted away, and numerous offers came our way regarding the fact that they were prepared to stay until every single item found its home. This of course was impossible but the offer brought home the fact that we were dealing with true professionals in every sense of the word.
The entire team was nothing short of phenomenal...
We thank Mario's Movers that not too many days after our move we have made it our home and we are extremely happy. We shall have no reservation in recommending Mario's Movers to all and anyone who will listen.

The move to Greyton on Tuesday 26th October was a pleasure! The team
was extremely efficient, quiet and they all worked as a team.
I have never experienced a move like this one and I have moved quite a
few times in the past.
The team leader was outstanding. He was unbelievably professional and
had his eye on everything. Nothing escaped him and his manner towards
me was such that one does not find in the workplace these days. The
most amazing thing was that he didn't just hang around and watch the
others work which seems to be the norm,
he was right in there sweating with them.
I am most impressed with the whole service and have no hesitation in
highly recommending your company to anyone who needs the stress and
worry taken out of moving house.

We would like to thank you for all the effort and time your team from Mario's Movers put into the moving of our 40,000 Goodie Bags for the Pick n Pay Cape Argus Cycle Tour. Lance’s easy way of getting the whole thing together made for a very smooth delivery.
Your staff’s energy and enthusiasm was unwavering and they treated our precious cargo like gold, ensuring that each box was packed and unpacked very carefully, taping up boxes where necessary and working quickly and efficiently.
Ernest the driver/ manager manoeuvred your large truck with great skill and he was a huge hit with all the packers at Alta du Toit Nasorg, an adult aftercare facility for adults with intellectual disabilities. The packers’ faces lit up when they saw your large trucks at the entrance to the warehouse and so enjoyed working with your whole team.
We will strongly recommend your services and look forward to working with you again soon.

We would just like to thank the team who helped us with our move on 8 Jan. They were extremely friendly and efficient. They moved our furniture with the utmost care. I was worried about my piano, antiques and stone table top, but they took good care of them! I write to express the gratitude of my daughter, Dr. Megan Jones and myself to you and your team at Mario’s Movers for the truly excellent service you provided us at such short notice last week.
Your personal attention to ensuring that that the move could take place at the end of the month and with hardly any notice is highly appreciated. It still boggles our minds that you were willing and able to fit us in the day after my first calling you. You are the kind of manager customers dream of, for whom no task is too big or difficult. And you remained courteous and positive throughout. As for the team who carried out the move, I have never in 22 moves met a more committed and professional team of men. Not only were they respectful of the goods they were moving but, even more impressively, they were incredibly respectful of each other. It was truly amazing not to hear one raised voice and to witness how the senior members of the team were constantly teaching and encouraging the others. All of this made for what is normally a very stressful exercise a really pleasant experience.
Thank you for providing a service which went beyond our expectations. There are not many companies or service providers in just about any field these days that go to the lengths to provide not just satisfactory but exceptional service.
We have told everyone we know about this experience partly because it is really a good news story but mostly because we know that Mario’s Movers will always be our preferred mover and want it to be that of everyone we know.
